Role Summary

We are hiring an experienced Manual Jewellery Designer with strong expertise in diamond and gold jewellery design. The role involves creating detailed hand-sketched concepts, converting them into precise CorelDRAW layouts, and collaborating closely with CAD, merchandising, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturing feasibility. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of jewellery proportions, stone layouts, and technical detailing aligned with export-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manual & Digital Jewellery Design

• Create high-precision manual sketches for diamond and gold jewellery
• Develop clean and detailed CorelDRAW design sheets for production
• Translate design briefs into creative and technically accurate concepts
• Prepare multi-view designs with correct proportions and measurements

CAD Coordination & Technical Accuracy

• Work closely with CAD designers to ensure accurate design conversion
• Review CAD outputs and provide corrections aligned with design intent
• Ensure designs are manufacturing-feasible (stone setting, casting, finishing)

Product Development & Sampling

• Support development of new collections, themes, and market-specific designs
• Coordinate with merchandising and production teams for sampling and approvals
• Maintain organized design documentation and version tracking

Quality & Detailing

• Deliver production-ready designs with precise measurements and tolerances
• Ensure correct specifications for prong, channel, micro-pave settings, etc.
• Follow design and quality standards for high-end/export-level output

Candidate Profile

Must-Have Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Manual Jewellery Design + CorelDRAW
• Strong expertise in diamond jewellery sketching with accurate proportions
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW specifically for jewellery design
• Understanding of CAD processes and jewellery construction
• Strong aesthetic sense and commercial design understanding
• High attention to detail with ability to deliver error-free design sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in lab-grown diamond (LGD) or export jewellery design
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (casting, stone setting, finishing)
• Strong portfolio showcasing manual sketches and CorelDRAW work
• Background from institutes like NIFT, IIGJ, JD Institute, SNDT, GIA (preferred)
