Manager/Sr. Manager QA & AC (Plant)

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage a team of 25–30 quality professionals
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to ensure quality excellence
• Promote ownership and accountability within the team

Management Systems & Compliance

• Maintain and enhance integrated management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, BRCGS, EHS ISO 14001)
• Ensure compliance and readiness for all internal, statutory, and customer audits
• Conduct internal audits, process audits, and system audits and ensure NC closure

Product Quality & Control

• Implement robust quality control processes from raw materials to final product release
• Approve SOPs, raw material receipts, and quality documentation
• Conduct MSA, SPC, and PPAP activities
• Verify daily quality reports and testing records
• Ensure adherence to specifications for FMCG, Pharma, and Food & Beverage customers
• Knowledge of secondary operations such as wadding, sleeving, and printing is an advantage

Customer & Supplier Management

• Act as primary contact for quality-related matters with customers and suppliers
• Handle customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA
• Conduct supplier self-assessment and prepare required documentation
• Prepare PPAP documentation and obtain customer approval

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare daily MIS reports for top management
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement improvements
• Coordinate with all departments for system activities, NPD, APQP, and PPAP processes

Process Improvement & Continuous Quality Initiatives

• Implement 5S and Kaizen initiatives and monitor effectiveness
• Prepare monthly MOP and MRM documentation
• Organize training programs as per annual plan

Compliance & Ethical Standards

• Ensure adherence to SEDEX requirements and ethical compliance
• Drive quality awareness throughout the organization
• Facilitate system audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformances
