Manager - Structured Finance
Job Description
• Preparation of credit appraisal notes and in-principle approval presentations.
• Coordination with business, legal, and risk teams for transaction execution, including structuring, term-sheet preparation, and compliance checks on pre-disbursement conditions.
• Engagement with internal and external stakeholders to build sectoral and transaction-related knowledge.
• Development of financial models and monitoring of key operating parameters across assigned sectors.
• Continuous tracking of sectoral developments and trends relevant to portfolio companies or proposed transactions.
• Analysis of financial statements and assessment of creditworthiness of large and mid-corporate clients.
• Preparation of concise and comprehensive credit notes highlighting all critical aspects of the transaction.
• Creation of business plans and financial projections using MS Excel.
• Building and applying domain expertise in sectors under coverage.
• Understanding and application of banking, lending, and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting detailed research with strong attention to accuracy and data integrity.
• Drafting of term sheets and reviewing transaction structure.
• Identification of key drivers, risks, and issues in transactions; leading discussions with clients, LIEs, rating agencies, and other stakeholders to obtain clarity and enhance bankability.
• Internal presentation of transactions to senior management, clearly articulating strengths, risks, and mitigants before committee approval.
• Handling transactions in structured finance within a financial institution, bank, NBFC, credit rating agency, or consulting environment.
