Manager / Senior Manager – New Product Development (Carmesi)

New Product Development & Innovation

• Manage the full NPD lifecycle from concept ideation to post-launch optimization
• Identify consumer needs, white spaces, and trends; develop product briefs including positioning, claims, pricing, and margins
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with brand and market requirements

Manufacturer & Supplier Management

• Lead contract manufacturers, suppliers, packaging vendors, and formulation partners
• Negotiate costs, MOQs, timelines, quality, and exclusivity agreements
• Source and onboard new vendors, building a robust manufacturing ecosystem

Product Quality, Compliance & Claims

• Ensure products meet regulatory and safety standards (BIS, CDSCO, labeling norms)
• Define QC processes, testing protocols, and audits in collaboration with QA teams
• Own product claims, performance benchmarks, and validation

Launch Planning & Scale-up

• Plan and execute product launches, pilot runs, and scale-up activities
• Coordinate with supply chain and planning teams for inventory readiness across online and offline channels
• Monitor post-launch performance and implement improvements based on consumer feedback

Commercial & Business Ownership

• Build product P&L logic including COGS, margins, and pricing strategies
• Ensure launches meet profitability and gross margin targets
• Support business and category teams with product insights for GTM plans
