Manager - Retail Credit

Key Deliverables:

• Underwrite mortgage business and manage the portfolio in the assigned branch/location
• Assess loan applications and recommend approval decisions to higher authorities
• Review credit proposals, ensuring industry, business, financial, and collateral risks are identified and mitigated
• Build and maintain effective relationships with third parties for better client outcomes

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct personal discussions with customers to assess creditworthiness and ensure document completion
• Maintain Portfolio MIS, Delinquency MIS, and other operational reports
• Enable quick turnaround of credit proposals in close coordination with the sales team
• Ensure compliance with credit risk management, documentation, and legal requirements
