Job Description
- Plan, schedule, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply and smooth functioning of electrical infrastructure across the plant
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical breakdowns, minimizing downtime and production loss
- Maintain and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations
- Coordinate with production and utility teams for effective maintenance planning and execution
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and energy consumption
- Monitor performance of electrical systems and implement energy-saving initiatives
- Manage and guide a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring skill development and adherence to safety norms
- Oversee maintenance of LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, VFDs, and other critical systems
- Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and statutory bodies as needed
