Job Description
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and financial statements
Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decisions
Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish annual budgets
Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for significant discrepancies
Prepare financial forecasts and models to support long-term planning
Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Communicate financial results and insights to senior management and other stakeholders
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
Manage tax planning and compliance activities
Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing appropriate strategies and controls
Cash Management: Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
Optimize cash balances and investments to maximize returns
Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team
