Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Agile Business Analyst with Capital Markets Knowledge!
In this role, we are looking for an experienced Agile Business Analyst with strong Capital Markets domain knowledge to support business and technology initiatives. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions using Agile methodologies. Strong experience with JIRA for backlog management and SQL for data analysis is essential.
Responsibilities
.Act as an Agile Business Analyst within Scrum/Agile teams supporting Capital Markets initiatives.
.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document front-office, middle-office, or back-office requirements.
.Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
.Manage and maintain product backlogs in JIRA, including story creation, refinement, prioritization, and traceability.
.Work closely with Product Owners and development teams during sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
.Perform data analysis using SQL to validate business rules, reconcile data, and support reporting and testing activities.
.Support UAT planning and execution, including test case review, defect triage, and validation of delivered functionality.
.Translate complex Capital Markets concepts into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
.Identify process gaps and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
.Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and control requirements applicable to Capital Markets.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.
.Relevant years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
.Strong Capital Markets domain experience (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, Commodities, Clearing & Settlement, Trade Lifecycle).
.Hands-on experience with JIRA for Agile project and backlog management.
.Strong SQL skills for data querying, validation, and analysis.
.Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
.Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Experience working with investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, or financial services firms.
.Exposure to risk, regulatory reporting, trade processing, or post-trade systems.
.Familiarity with Agile tools such as Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
.Knowledge of data warehouses, reporting tools, or BI platforms.
.Agile or Business Analysis certifications (CSPO, CSM, SAFe, CBAP, PMI-PBA).
.Experience supporting UAT, SIT, or production releases in Capital Markets environments.
