Job Description
As a Mechanical Sales Engineer, you will sell complex mechanical products by blending engineering expertise with sales acumen, acting as a technical liaison to understand client needs, propose customized solutions (using CAD/analysis), deliver presentations, negotiate deals, and ensure customer satisfaction, bridging the gap between engineering and sales teams for B2B technical solutions. The role requires strong technical knowledge (mechanics, fluid dynamics) plus communication and sales skills, often needing a Mechanical Engineering degree.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Identify customer needs, build relationships, and provide technical support.
- Technical Solutions: Design/propose customized mechanical systems, perform analysis, and create technical documentation.
- Sales & Presentations: Deliver product demos, explain complex features, and present proposals/contracts.
- Collaboration: Work with sales, engineering, and product development teams.
- Market Awareness: Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
