Roles & Responsibilities Maintenance Supervisor (Dairy Industry)

• Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities of dairy machinery and utility equipment.
• Ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance to avoid production delays.
• Lead a team of technicians and assign work based on shift and priority.
• Monitor the performance of equipment like pasteurizers, homogenizers, boilers, compressors, chillers, and other dairy machinery.
• Keep maintenance records and prepare daily maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth plant operation.
• Maintain stock of spare parts and raise purchase requests as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure the team uses proper tools and PPE.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure quick resolution.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the maintenance workshop.
