Maintenance Engineer_ Pick and Place Machines

• MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES           :     
• Responsible for Pick and Place, Milling, Thermo Fuse locking and conveyor systems Technical availability.
• Should work in 3 shifts operation and reports to maintenance Shift In charge .
• Should have a thorough knowledge of trouble shooting and programming knowledge of Panasonic pick and place (CM402 , CM602 & NPMW , W2) machines
• Should have a thorough knowledge of trouble shooting and programming knowledge of ASM pick and place (SX2) machines
• Should have a thorough knowledge of trouble shooting of Milling machines
• Carry out Preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance
• Effectively escalate the open points and major breakdowns to Suppliers and close it with in shortest period.
• Should work for reducing the Maintenance cost
• Spare parts management and follow-up to get the spare parts.
• Keep MTTR below the target level Should be able to handle entire SMT line independently.
• Find the R.C through 5why analysis as per the defined criteria
• Should have good analytical skills, converting ability to solve problems on machines & lines.
• Should possess deep problem-solving abilities eg:8D
• Should predict the problems in the machine and take preliminary actions to avoid the breakdown (implementation of Predictive maintenance)
• Should work for controlling the scrap and droppage
•  Should work on Continuous improvement
• Responsible for individual target and department target
• Should work in 3 shifts operation and reports to maintenance shift Leader
• PLC Knowledge is added advantage .
• Ensure the adherence to manufacturing process compliance with legal & safety requirements, customer requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications and ensure the team also follows the same.
• Periodic tasks :
• Should periodically review PM & B/D points, and convert them to CBM, Predictive mode.
• Need to make scientific analysis of failure and make suggestion of monitoring.
• Should work for reducing the Maintenance Cost
• Should possess deep problem-solving abilities eg:8D
• Create QAM, Machine FMEA and review.
• Change potential points into CBM.
• Implementation and sustenance of TPM, MTBF and MTTR
• Co-ordination with Process owner for improvement activities.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechatronics / Electronics /Electrical

  3 - 6 Years of experience in Electronics manufacturing industry with the sound Electrical and Mechanical Trouble shooting skills on Pick and place machines, Milling , Thermo fuse locking and conveyor systems . Knowledge on other SMT machines like Solder paste printing, Reflow, AOI machines , Process Knowledge in Complete SMT line and Knowledge on X-ray machines will be an added advantage.
