Mainframe RACF

Responsibilities:

• Understand Mainframe System Architecture and z/OS concepts.
• Hands-on experience with RACF panel, Vanguard tool, and ACF2.
• Strong knowledge of RACF attributes, groups, datasets, and general resource profiles.
• Create User IDs, manage groups, and assign user attributes.
• Proficient in RACF commands and RACF panel navigation.
• Provide access based on user roles and requirements.
• Ensure the right access is granted to the right person to prevent critical system impact.
• Diagnose access errors and assign correct RACF resource permissions.
