Mainframe PL1 Professional

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using PL/I and COBOL.
• Write and optimize DB2 queries and manage database operations.
• Develop and manage JCL for batch processing and job scheduling.
• Participate in both development and production support (maintenance) projects.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and delivery.
• Perform debugging, testing, and issue resolution in mainframe environments.
• Ensure application performance, stability, and reliability in production systems.
• Work in corporate banking domain projects (preferred exposure).
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
