Job Description

Role Overview

The Loan Administration Officer will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of life cycle events related to syndicated loans across multiple loan platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth transition of loan administration activities to the India-based team and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and process all life cycle events for portfolios with multiple asset types based on incoming agent notices
  • Collaborate with Loan Administrators to interpret loan information, resolve exceptions, and enhance understanding
  • Communicate effectively with agent banks to confirm and obtain loan notices
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including Asset Services, Reconciliation, Trade Settlement, Trustees, and Agent Banks
  • Proactively take on additional responsibilities and administrative tasks as required

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–4 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or reconciliation
  • Strong understanding of syndicated loans and related life cycle events
  • Familiarity with loan platforms such as Sentry and Solvas is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive both independently and within a team in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
