Linux Administrator

We're looking for an experienced Linux Administrator to join our team, supporting an investment banking client. This role is critical for ensuring the operational availability and stability of our Unix infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the product lifecycle of the Unix infrastructure, ensuring high operational availability.
• Design and specify changes for implementation across the Linux environment.
• Install operating systems on both physical and virtual servers.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.x / 8.x.
• Work with Veritas Cluster Services (VCS) and Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) to ensure high availability and efficient storage management.
• Utilize Red Hat Satellite for system management and patching.
• Implement automation solutions using Ansible.

Required Skills

• Strong technical expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.x / 8.x.
• Proficiency with Ubuntu 18.x / 20.x.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Satellite.
• Expertise in Veritas Cluster Services (VCS).
• Proficiency with Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM).
• Experience with Ansible.
• Competence in OS installation on both physical and virtual servers.
• Proven troubleshooting knowledge on RHEL 9.x / 8.x.
