We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Linux environments, ensuring system performance, and implementing security measures.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux servers and systems.
- Ensure system security and data integrity by implementing best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux environments.
- Monitor system performance and optimize configurations as needed.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments on Linux.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in Linux system administration.
- Strong understanding of Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, VMware).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
