Job Description

Key Responsibilities

HR Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with US federal and state labor laws.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including EEOC, VETS, AAP, and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of HR processes to identify and close compliance gaps.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy and security standards across HR systems.

Audit & Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize compliance reports and dashboards for accuracy and usability.
  • Monitor compliance metrics, audit findings, and corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure data integrity.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with HR teams, business leaders, and external auditors to ensure compliance readiness.
  • Consult HR business partners on system reporting, integrations, and HR technology implementations.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination to implement corrective actions and process improvements.

Strategic Impact

  • Align compliance initiatives with business objectives, focusing on risk reduction, cost efficiency, and organizational reputation.
  • Use compliance insights to enhance employee engagement and workplace safety.
  • Present compliance outcomes and insights to leadership in a business-relevant manner.
