LEAD TECHNICAL WRITER

A seasoned documentation specialist with 5–8 years of experience in creating clear, accurate, and user-focused content for complex technical products. Possesses a deep understanding of the Document Development Life Cycle (DDLC), excellent command of English grammar, and hands-on experience with leading authoring, graphics, and publishing tools. Adheres to customer style guides and documentation processes while quickly assimilating domain knowledge to produce high-quality manuals, user guides, and product documentation across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret product requirements, feature specifications, and concept documentation.
• Develop content aligned with customer style sheets, style guides, and branding standards.
• Implement DDLC best practices, ensuring traceability, version control, and timely reviews.
• Create and maintain technical documents including installation guides, user manuals, release notes, and help systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Manage and utilize tools for content creation, image editing, publishing, and version control.
• Maintain documentation across multiple releases and platforms (Windows, Linux, Solaris).
• Contribute to improving documentation standards and usability across customer-facing assets.

Education & Experience

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent
• Experience: 5–8 years in technical documentation or related roles

• Version Control: SVN, Confluence, Git
