Lead Technical Architect - Integration

Purpose of the role

• Join the Enterprise Integration Technologies team in delivering global world-class Application to Application (A2A) and Business to Business (B2B) application integration solutions.
• The candidate should have In-depth working knowledge / experience on MuleSoft Architecture, Solutioning, administration etc.
• Evaluate, design, and optimize integration services for resilience, high-availability, performance, scale, and cost.
• Lead complex and critical platform efforts while ensuring alignment across GMI Digital & Technology organization.
• Partner with solution delivery and architecture to develop design patterns and templates, share knowledge and experience across solutions aimed at improving resilience, enabling scale, and optimizing costs.
• Collaborate and build relationships cross-functionally to influence and motivate, serving as catalyst for progressive, strategic, and successful change management
• Advise, and support Digital & Technology leadership in shaping technical standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Keep pace with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement.
• Uphold and enforce security and compliance standards throughout the integration platform.
• Define Architecture Strategy & Guiding Principles in Application Integration across the Enterprise.
• Understand technology trends, innovative solutions, and prototyping.
• Lead POC and Evaluate/Implement new technologies systems/platform.
• Proactively improve key metrics, such as up-time, application performance, time to issue resolution, time spent resolving incidents and other key operational SLAs.
• Candidate should have an experience in working with cloud platforms like (GCP). The individual should know cloud very well & have an experience on various cloud deployments
• The individual should be familiar with the industry standards and should be exploring the new features and road map for the integration tools
• Should be familiar with Infrastructure as a code tools, provisioning tools and cloud monitoring tools usage and administration.
• Individual should be able to partner with the Solution teams and guide them in designing the Application architecture and define the functional and technical specification
• The candidate should be able to work through others in implementing the solutions and guide junior team members to achieve the organizational strategy.

• Help towards maturing platform, and provide continuous feedback for improvisations, optimizations, governance, security etc.
• Help in managing and automating MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform configurations, including API management, security, deployments, monitoring & governance etc.
• Help in setting tup RTF DR cluster.
• Help in setup and support highly available Integration Platform Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS).
• Help in automating LastMile Security Certificate Management processes.
• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of MuleSoft applications through proper configurations and failover strategies.
• Translation of strategy and architecture into a highly available and secure technical implementation, in accordance with best practices
• Continuous support and collaboration with other data engineers, developers, data and analytics teams and projects.
• Setting up Monitoring dashboard and implement observability in all our owned services.
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery strategies for owned tech stacks.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements by automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery for greater scalability, etc.
• Work with stakeholders including the Product, Developers, Data & Analytics teams and support their infrastructure needs.
• Comply with audit and other reporting requirements.
• Lead cultural change for adoption of new technologies.
• Individual should be able to partner with the Solution teams and guide them in designing the Application architecture and define the functional and technical specification
• Collect and share knowledge with stakeholders on tool standards and best practices through various sources including our internal virtual training site.
• Define and ensure the governance of standards, best practices and processes on Enterprise Integration applications.
• Guide team members & provide help to cross team members.
• Guide team members by providing valuable inputs & also by making them understand the need of change
• Act as a subject matter expert to solve critical issue & document the same
• Work on innovation and automation to reduce mundane work

• Monitoring Industry Trends and finding the ways to adopt the same to the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
• 5+ years of relevant experience of working as a Solution Architect/Technology Architect/Enterprise Architect in large enterprise/fortune 500 company.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft.
• At least 3 years of practical experience with Java or C# (object-oriented programming languages).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with databases.
• Expertise in integration architecture and design, with a strong understanding of best practices and industry standards.
• Strong Experience with Runtime Fabric and Hybrid Deployment Model
• Expertise in Deployment strategies, Mule Clustering, Mule Gateway, MUnit MuleSoft MMC.
• Experience troubleshooting/Managing Runtime Servers, experience on Mule Connectors (Standard/Custom).
• Provide technical consultation on MuleSoft platform best practices, security, and governance.
• Should have considerable knowledge of API development using Mule Platform.
• Understanding of core network technologies and monitoring tools
• Experience with microservices architecture and multi-cloud environments a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP and data & analytics platforms a plus
• Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and align technology goals with business objectives.
• Experience working in enterprise-grade technology environments.
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues.
• Proven hands-on experience with MuleSoft integration platform.
• Experience with event-driven microservice architecture.
• Exp with integration design patterns.
• Experience in automation, standardization and best practices.
• Familiarity with CICD, Cloud Hub/RTF.
• Experience working directly with technical and business teams.
• Experience with low level technical design and requirement gathering
• Good at communication
• Proven skills in Java/JSON/JQuery
• Version control tools.
• Phython &/Or any other shell scripting.
• GCP Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with Kafka, BigQuery, and Google Pub/Sub
• MuleSoft Architecture / Development Certification.
• Strong aptitude to learn and passion for problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills in coordinating with different stakeholders.
