Lead Systems Engineer(IBM Sterling)

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.)
2. Proven experience in a similar role as a Systems Engineer, specifically working with IBM Sterling software.
3. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling B2B Integrator, and Sterling Control Center.
4. Experience in system design, implementation, and administration of IBM Sterling-based solutions.
5. Solid understanding of B2B integration concepts and protocols, such as AS2, SFTP, FTPS, EDI, and XML.
6. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell scripting, Perl, or Python for automation and customization tasks.
7. Familiarity with database systems, particularly Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL query language.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with other B2B integration platforms and technologies, such as IBM MQ, IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), or Mulesoft.
2. Knowledge of security standards and protocols related to B2B integration, including encryption, digital certificates, and secure file transfers.
3. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of IBM Sterling solutions.
4. Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
5. Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Solution Implementer - Sterling B2B Integrator or IBM Certified Administrator - Sterling File Gateway.
