Job Description

ROLE DETAILS

Title : MEP Grade : SM/AGM

Business : Airports Department Project Construction (MEP)

Location : Jaipur

2. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Responsible for the design and execution of electro mechanical works at JIAL

3. REPORTING

Administrative Rep : ___Head MEP

4.CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Design Management:

Coordinate the designs for projects from conceptual stage to detailed designs by coordinating with project owners, Operation and Maintenance team, consultants and other stake holders.

  • Procurement Management:

Coordinate and assist procurement team with Technical and Commercial inputs in tendering, evaluating new technologies at the time of tender, vendor evaluation and finalization.

  • Construction Management:

Coordinate and ensure the implementation of the Electro-Mechanical works with compliance to the Design and requirements of Airport Project.

  • Handing over and Contract Closure:

Handover completed project to user departments with required documentation, Hand hold the operation team in initial period to stabilize the operation. Post operation stabilization; assist Procurement and Contracts team to close the all contracts.

  • Employee Engagement:

Support team for successful implementation of related works. Identify and assist in Coaching the team member on their short comings in handling the related works successfully. Develop the team work and relationships. Do the succession planning

5. Key Success factors along with matrices

  • Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, complying stake holder requirements and project objectives.
  • In-time Procurement, finalization of contractor / Vendor. Project Quality, time and cost compliance
  • Completion within time, Quality compliance, Safety, Health and Environment compliance. Project Objectives & Stakeholder satisfaction
  • Complying with the project objectives & stabilization of system for maximum output as per the service levels. Contracts closure without major non conformances.
  • Works comply with the contract documents including drawings and specifications
  • Works are completed on time and as per desired quality standards, manage subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, and punch list process

6. ROLE HOLDER REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications: A graduate degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical/Electrical from an institute of repute recognized by UGC/AICTE

Required Experience (Incl. no. of years) / Exposure - 15-18 years, experience in various

functions of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil

and workshop.

Should also have experience in Construction & Utility Operations in a large to medium project
