Lead Mechanical Engineer II

 Responsibilities:

• Lead investigations of customer problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Define, design, develop, and verify next-generation instruments throughout the product development cycle.
• Design and develop complex electro/optical/thermal mechanical parts and assemblies considering DFM, reliability, cost, and human factors.
• Problem-solve engineering issues, conduct empirical studies, write and execute test protocols, analyze data, and communicate findings.
• Write and release Design Change Orders (DCOs) for engineering drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, NPI, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Customer Care teams.
• Manage project timelines, scope, risks, and issues within the Core Team.
