Lead Engineer - User Experience

Job Summary

An experienced mobile UI/UX designer responsible for owning end-to-end design modules, including interaction flow, visual design, and user experience quality. The individual provides technical direction, conducts design reviews, and delivers high-quality outputs with minimal supervision. With a strong foundation in mobile platform standards and design systems, the designer identifies usability challenges and proposes effective, scalable design solutions aligned with modern user expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design tasks for mobile applications.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to translate concepts into wireframes and pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Guide junior designers, review deliverables, and ensure alignment with platform design guidelines.
• Identify and resolve UX issues independently using domain knowledge and best practices.
• Apply flat design principles and adhere to iOS and Android platform-specific guidelines (Apple HIG, Material Design).
• Collaborate using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and support documentation of design workflows.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MCA, or equivalent discipline.
• Relevant experience in mobile UI/UX design and delivery.

Competencies & Tools

• Strong experience in designing user interfaces and crafting user experiences for:
• iOS (Smartphones & iPads)
• Android (Smartphones & Tablets)
• Proficient understanding of:
• Apple Human Interface Guidelines
• Material Design Principles
• Flat Design Concepts
• Tools:
• Photoshop, Adobe Suite (e.g. Illustrator, XD)
