Job Description

Job Summary

A hands-on security engineering leader with 7–9 years of experience in security verification, automation, and protocol stack validation across embedded domains such as Devices, Automotive, Medical Devices, and Telecom Infrastructure. Skilled in implementing security and penetration testing strategies, simulating cyberattacks, and performing root-cause analysis across critical connectivity layers. Demonstrates deep understanding of 3GPP networks, embedded systems, and AI/ML-assisted testing tools. Acts as a subject-matter expert and mentor to teams, ensuring robust security design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute security test strategies across multiple domains and embedded platforms.
  • Develop penetration testing techniques to evaluate system security posture, including simulated breaches and remote attack surfaces.
  • Analyze system design to expose vulnerabilities; prepare detailed risk reports and remediation strategies.
  • Lead technical proposals and estimations for customer-specific security & V&V efforts.
  • Design and automate test workflows using Python, Java, TTCN, PERL, and modern AI/ML-based security tools.
  • Collaborate with customers and project teams to standardize best practices and build reusable frameworks.
  • Execute security testing on embedded Linux hosts and internal platforms using trace/logging/debug tools.
  • Guide the development team on secure coding, design mitigation, and CI/CD pipeline integration for security.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)
  • Preferred Certifications: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent

  • Protocol Testing Expertise:
  • UE modem stack testing (Layer 2, Layer 3, NAS)

  • Security Engineering Skills:
  • Threat modeling, secure boot, system-level encryption/authentication
  • Risk analysis and secure update simulation
