Lead Engineer NMS

Job description

• Act as a Technical Lead for the Management Testing Aspects of eNodeB
• Lead the OSS/North Bound Interface Testing/Integration thru Management Software of eNodeB
• Work with OSS/BSS Integrators for successful integration of eNodeB thru Management Software
• Communicate with Design/PLM/Support teams for release updates
• Track parallel release testing progress
• Track field issues and internal bugs, prioritize them for fix
• Distribute the features and the tasks among the team

Mandatory skills:

• BE/B.Tech./M.Tech. (EC/EE/CS) Degree with 6+ yrs.
• Must have good understanding of wireless technologies such 4G,5G.
• Experience in NMS/EMS FCAPS Testing
• Working knowledge of how to manage large number of eNodeB thru Network Management Software (FCAPS)
• Must have worked on couple of OSS/BSS Integration project for LTE
• UI Automation Exposure using selenium/python or any similar tool
• Good to have SON Integration Knowledge

Desired skills:

• Find out innovative ideas for making repetitive work easy/faster using scripting or tools
• Provide Feedback to automation team for Important Field Issues/Internal Bugs to be automated in UI/API on priority
• Hire and Train New Joiners
• Set Goals and appraise the team members based on the achievements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: 6 to 10 years experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
• Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree
