Lead Engineer- Netconf -SDN Controller Development

Job description

• As a technical expert, you will contribute in product development and delivery including planning, requirement analysis, design, implementation, validation, verification and field testing
• Analyze and prioritize various features for different sub-systems to get a synchronized system delivery in a phased manner
• Closely work with other teams and partners to carry out system integration and user acceptance testing
• Focus to continuously improve system performance with quality deliverables.
• You will be responsible for leading a team and guiding them for optimum output.

Mandatory skills:

• Experience in Netconf/RestConf/Yang development
• Experience in design and development of Netconf client applications.
• Experience in software defined network (SDN) controller.
• Experience in yang modelling for Netconf, RestConf
• Experience/knowledge of open daylight (ODL), ONAP SDN-R would be an added plus.
• Knowledge of Akka clustering would be an added plus.
• Knowledge of simulation of Netconf device / server.
• In-depth understanding of IETF Netconf, Yang specifications.
• Experience in Java, Postgres/MySQL, Elastic Search (or any NOSQL DB knowledge a plus)
• In-depth understanding of microservices based development.
• Experience in NMS/EMS development for 4g/5g base stations would be an added plus.
• Individual Contributor.
• Responsible for design and development of features for SDN controller, Netconf applications.
• Optimization of the application for speed and scalability.

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of Automated Deployment Environments. (Kubernetes, Docker etc.).
• Basic understanding of Agile Development lifecycles.
• Design and development using Spring Boot would be a plus .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: 6 to 9 years experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
• Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree
• Candidate should be good at coding skills in Java, Netconf and SDN Controller.
