Job Description

Job Summary

A technically adept engineer with 5–8 years of experience, responsible for the ownership and delivery of modules involving connectivity stack implementation across firmware, middleware, and core systems. This role requires a deep understanding of connectivity protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, USB, Ethernet, etc.), embedded platform development, and strong programming skills in C, C++, or Java. Operates independently with the ability to guide teams, perform root cause analyses, and deliver high-quality, production-grade solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end requirement analysis and feasibility studies, including risk assessments and system-level estimations.
  • Design, develop, debug, and support components across firmware, core connectivity stacks, and middleware layers.
  • Ensure requirement traceability, code optimization, test coverage, and review compliance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team capability development through structured training and code reviews.
  • Take ownership of module-level quality and delivery, including identifying design gaps and proposing technically sound alternatives.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to integrate and validate connectivity subsystems.
  • Participate in internal technical initiatives, innovations, and continuous learning efforts.

Education & Experience

  • Qualification: Engineering Graduate / MCA or equivalent
  • Experience: 5–8 years in embedded or system-level development focused on connectivity protocols

Technical Competencies

  • Platform Expertise: Embedded Linux, RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Nucleus), proprietary systems
  • Connectivity Standards:
  • Mandatory Expertise in at least one: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, USB, Ethernet
  • Additional exposure to: Zigbee, Z-Wave (preferred)
  • Development & Debug Tools:
  • Protocol analyzers, sniffers, toolchains, JTAG, GDB, IDEs
