LEAD ENGINEER - APP SOFTWARE

Job Summary

An experienced Core Application Developer with 5–8 years of experience, responsible for owning and delivering modules with high quality and timeliness. This role demands strong analytical and mentoring capabilities, a deep understanding of .NET technologies, and proficiency in resolving complex issues with minimal supervision. The individual is expected to lead by example, guide team members, and uphold engineering excellence across projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement analysis, system-level feasibility studies, and risk identification.
• Execute end-to-end SDLC: design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and support.
• Maintain traceability of requirements from design through delivery.
• Drive code quality through reviews, optimizations, and test coverage strategies.
• Mentor junior developers and identify team training needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead technical initiatives.
• Contribute to project and organizational capability development through training and self-assessment.
• Optionally manage a small team, based on project requirements.

Education & Experience

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech / MCA or equivalent.
• Experience: 5–8 years in .NET application design and development.

Technical Competencies

• Application Development: Design, customization, maintenance, and bug fixing of Windows desktop and web applications.
• Technologies & Frameworks: .NET 3.x/4.x, .NET Core, WCF, WPF, Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML
• Architecture & Design: Familiar with UML modeling and design patterns for enterprise-grade applications.
• Platforms & Tools: Visual Studio, Windows-based application environments
• Languages: C#, ASP.NET
