Lead Desktop Engineer

This role is for a Lead Desktop Engineer with a strong background in both Jamf (for macOS/iOS) and Intune (for Windows). The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with extensive experience in desktop engineering, capable of managing a team, handling customer escalations, and ensuring compliance across all devices.

Responsibilities

• Customer and Escalation Management: Handle customer interactions and manage technical escalations effectively.
• Mitigation Management: Oversee and implement mitigation strategies for technical issues and security risks.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 8 desktop engineers.
• Reporting: Generate detailed reports on hardware, software, assets, and compliance.
• Compliance: Ensure all devices and configurations adhere to company and regulatory compliance standards.
• Device Management: Utilize Jamf for managing macOS and iOS devices and Intune for Windows devices.

Skills

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Jamf for macOS/iOS management and Intune for Windows management.
• Expertise in generating reports related to Hardware, Software, Assets, and Compliance.
• Proven experience in Compliance management.
• Strong leadership qualities and experience in a lead role.
• Experience as a Desktop Engineer for 5-6 years.
• Experience as a Lead for 1-2 years.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7-10 years of overall experience in a similar field.
• A stable work history is a must.
