Lead Design Engineer -Aero Engines

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform stack-up analysis & design hand calculations.
• Conceptual and detailed design of aero engine components using conventional hand calculations.
• Interact with customer as needed on task status at a technical standpoint.
• Evaluate product non-conformances and provide engineering recommendation for aero engine parts.

Required Skills:

• Sound knowledge in Mechanical design fundamentals, Engineering concepts and applications.
• Rich experience working on aero engine parts in the areas of compressors and turbines.
• Sound understand in of the build and functionality of aero engine and sub-modules.
• Strong Knowledge of GD&T application and able to perform Complex Tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Capability to understand and interpret structural analysis results.
• Has the experience of interacting with customer to solve critical problems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• An excellent team player

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to manufactured process and deviation resolutions
• Modeling and drafting skills in any of the CAD tools.
• Highly proficient in MS Office Tools
