Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Mobile & Accessibility Quality Engineering
The Lead Consultant will drive mobile quality assurance and accessibility compliance across enterprise mobile applications. This role focuses on ensuring seamless user experience, accessibility standards compliance (WCAG), and leading automation and manual testing efforts across iOS and Android platforms.
Responsibilities
.Lead end-to-end mobile testing for Android and iOS applications
.Define and implement mobile test strategy, plans, and execution
.Ensure applications meet accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 / 2.2, ADA
.Perform accessibility testing using screen readers and assistive technologies
.Identify, report, and track accessibility and usability issues
.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to ensure inclusive design
.Lead mobile automation initiatives using industry tools
.Mentor team members and enforce quality best practices
.Support release validation, regression testing, and production readiness
.Participate in client discussions and provide quality consulting
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
.Strong hands-on experience in Mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms.
.Proven experience in Accessibility testing using TalkBack (Android) and VoiceOver (iOS).
.Solid understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines such as WCAG 2.1 / 2.2, ADA, and accessibility principles (POUR).
.Experience using accessibility testing tools such as Accessibility Scanner, Accessibility Insights, Axe, or equivalent.
.Exposure to mobile automation tools such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
.Working knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
.Basic understanding of SQL and database validation for backend testing.
.Experience integrating testing activities with CI/CD pipelines.
.Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
.Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred qualifications
.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.
.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
.Leadership experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.
.Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, certifications) are a plus.
