Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, MDM Engineer
We're seeking a hands-on MDM Engineer to own and operate our Profisee Master Data Management platform end-to-end. This role designs, builds, and maintains MDM domains and workflows, ensures data quality and golden records across the enterprise, and integrates Profisee with key systems (data warehouse, ERP, CRM, analytics). You'll collaborate closely with data governance, data engineering, application teams, and business stewards to standardize master data and drive measurable business value.
Responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Architecture
.Administer and manage the Profisee environment including installation, upgrades, patching, configuration, and security.
.Design and implement MDM models (entities, hierarchies, relationships, attributes), matching/merging strategies, survivorship rules, and data stewardship workflows.
.Establish and maintain environment strategy (dev/test/prod), CI/CD pipelines, and backup/DR for Profisee repositories and services.
Data Integration & Engineering
.Build and optimize data integration between Profisee and upstream/downstream systems using Profisee Integration Hub, REST APIs, SQL/SSIS/Data Factory/Synapse/Databricks (as applicable).
.Implement real-time and batch data flows tune performance for high-volume mastering and survivorship.
.Collaborate with data engineering to publish curated golden records to analytics platforms and operational systems.
Data Quality & Stewardship
.Configure data quality rules (standardization, validation, enrichment) and monitoring dashboards.
.Implement and refine data stewardship processes, queues, and role-based workflows assemble training materials for data stewards and business users.
.Measure and improve data quality KPIs (completeness, uniqueness, accuracy, timeliness, conformity).
Governance & Compliance
.Partner with Data Governance to operationalize policies, business glossaries, and domain ownership.
.Enforce RBAC, auditability, and access controls within Profisee support compliance (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR/CCPA as applicable).
.Maintain documentation: architectural runbooks, data models, lineage, and operational SOPs.
Operations & Support
.Monitor platform health, job runtimes, and stewardship queues triage incidents and drive root-cause analysis.
.Plan and execute version upgrades and schema changes manage regression testing and release notes.
.Provide on-call support within reasonable rotation champion continuous improvement.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Strong SQL skills (T-SQL preferred) and experience with MS SQL Server (or Azure SQL/Managed Instance).
.Demonstrated experience designing match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and stewardship workflows in Profisee.
.Hands-on integration experience with ETL/ELT tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse pipelines, or equivalent) and REST APIs.
.Solid understanding of MDM domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, Location, etc.), reference data, and hierarchy management.
Familiarity with cloud (Azure preferred AWS acceptable) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Relevant years working with Profisee (or Minimum years in MDM with at least 2years in Profisee specifically).
.Profisee certifications (e.g., Profisee Administrator, Profisee Developer).
.Experience with Power BI or other BI tools to publish data quality/MDM metrics.
.Knowledge of Master Data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and metadata management.
.Exposure to ERP/CRM landscapes (Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce) and event-driven integration (Service Bus, Kafka).
.Scripting or automation with PowerShell or Python.
.MDM Craft: Matching/merging, survivorship, DQ rule design, stewardship workflow optimization.
.Systems Thinking: End-to-end data flow understanding from source to golden record to consuming apps/analytics.
.Collaboration: Works cross-functionally with stewards, governance, engineering, and product teams.
.Operational Excellence: Proactive monitoring, timely incident resolution, rigorous change control.
.Communication: Explains complex data and rules to non-technical stakeholders writes crisp documentation.
