Junior Software Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Design & Documentation

• Assist in preparing high-level and low-level design documents (HLD/LLD).
• Contribute to the design of scalable, modular, and reusable system components.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of architecture patterns such as microservices, event-driven, layered, MVC, CQRS, and DDD.
• Participate in architecture and design review sessions to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.

Technical Leadership & Guidance

• Provide guidance to development teams on coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Support implementation of non-functional requirements including performance, security, scalability, and resiliency.
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
• Assist in defining technical roadmaps and improvement initiatives.

Development & System Integration

• Collaborate with developers to build maintainable and high-performing software components.
• Assist in API design (REST/GraphQL), integration flows, and data modeling strategies.
• Ensure seamless integration across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and third-party systems.
• Support database design and optimization using SQL and NoSQL technologies.

Cloud, DevOps & Automation

• Contribute to cloud-native solution design using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Work with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Support infrastructure-as-code practices and containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure proper version control and release management practices using Git.

Quality, Governance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture audits, and technical governance processes.
• Assist in identifying technical risks and defining mitigation strategies.
