Job Description
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating new business, managing client accounts, negotiating contracts, and providing after-sales support in the automation industry. The role requires strong technical understanding, client relationship management, and the ability to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Search for new clients who could benefit from products within the designated region.
- Client Visits: Travel to meet potential clients and understand their requirements.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Requirement Management: Interpret customer needs and provide suitable product or service solutions.
- Sales Persuasion: Persuade clients that the product or service best meets their requirements.
- Quotation & Pricing: Calculate client quotations accurately and competitively.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate tender and contract terms and close sales by agreeing on terms and conditions.
- After-Sales Support: Offer post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Account Management: Administer client accounts efficiently and maintain records.
- Analysis & Reporting: Analyze costs, sales performance, and prepare reports for head office.
