Position Title: Trainee Team Member / Junior Sales Associate

POSITION OBJECTIVE

You will work along with your colleagues to gain customer satisfaction. You are responsible for replenishment, quality checks, cleaning, and working on the checkout. With your attitude of hands-on mentality, willingness to learn, and hard work, your aim is always to provide our FRESHER-CHEAPER-BETTER products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed according to standard layout norms (planogram, pricing, flagging)
• Ensure that all POS machines are in excellent conditions
• Ensure correct rotation of stock on shelves as per store requirements
• Ensure the highest hygiene standards all the time in the whole property
• Count the float for his/her designated till prior to opening to ensure accurate accounting
• Operate as a cashier and be consistently accurate in money handling
• Ensure counting of cash after the last customer leaves the store
• Conduct security checks for the currency credit cards, checks, etc., when required
• Show initiative
• Give accurate and current information about the product for all inquiries
• Maximize and contribute to sales within the store through exceptional customer service
• Understand the returns policy and ensure effective implementation.

DISPLAY

Basic Qualification: High School Diploma or Graduate degree in any field

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years experience in Retail (preferred in the supermarket) Business
