Junior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of Java-based applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using core Java and object-oriented programming principles.
• Work on bug fixes, enhancements, and performance optimization under the guidance of senior developers.
• Collaborate with team members on requirements analysis, solution design, and code reviews.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to unit testing and ensure proper documentation of code and development processes.
• Support integration with third-party systems, databases, and APIs.
• Learn and apply best practices in software development, security, and DevOps.

Qualifications & Skills:

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Java SE (standard edition) and OOP concepts.
• Familiarity with IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.
• Understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Desirable:

• Exposure to Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Maven/Gradle.
• Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON/XML.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience from academic projects, internships, or personal coding projects.
