JS Automation

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Apply strong testing fundamentals including test processes, design techniques, defect management, and methodologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Perform UI and API automation with frameworks like Playwright, Protractor, Jest, Puppeteer, or Cypress.
• Implement and work with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, or Chai.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the in-sprint automation of test cases in an agile environment.
• Integrate the automated test suite into Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Maintain and optimize test scripts for performance and scalability.
• Conduct regular code reviews and ensure best practices in test automation.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting complex issues in test automation, and working with the team to resolve them effectively.
• Ensure consistent communication with stakeholders about test status and results.
