Jr./Mid Java Developer

Responsibilities & Required Skills:

• Experience or academic exposure to Object-Oriented Programming concepts
• Completed at least one academic or professional project using Java 8+, Spring, and J2EE technologies
• Minimum 3-month internship or hands-on project experience
• Understanding of REST API development and usage
• Familiarity with Hibernate / ORM frameworks
• Experience deploying or working with Tomcat server
• Basic understanding of Redis (good to have)
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, Azure, or AWS (PaaS)
• Exposure to Jersey client and Drools (preferred but not mandatory)
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases: MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git and version control platforms like Bitbucket
• Basic understanding of testing frameworks such as JUnit 4, JMeter
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with IDEs like Eclipse (mandatory), NetBeans, or IntelliJ IDEA
• Eagerness to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn and take on new technologies
• Willingness to learn front-end or cross-functional technologies such as Angular (TypeScript), HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript
