Job Description
- Oversee all activities related to medical records within the hospital.
- Standardize formats used in the hospital for patient care.
- Coordinate medical audit activities to ensure compliance and quality.
- Report deficiency check information to management and clinical heads.
- Approve changes in patient name and demographic data according to hospital policy.
- Assist medical staff and committees in executing the quality assurance program.
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, department heads, patients, health agencies, other hospitals, and legal authorities to ensure smooth hospital operations, especially within the medical record department.
- Select appropriate personnel for the Medical Records Department (MRD) and provide efficient training.
- Supervise the work of MRD staff.
