Jr. Engineer

About the Role:

• Lead the execution of assignments, coordinate with team members, and ensure quality deliverables within the stipulated timelines.
• Conduct physical site visits to gather primary information, monitor project progress, and summarize findings and observations.
• Oversee civil engineering aspects of fit-out projects, including structural modifications, flooring, partitioning, and ceiling installations.
• Review on-site work and verify if construction is executed according to approved designs, specifications, and standards.
• Evaluate the quality of craftsmanship in the construction process and ensure that construction standards are upheld.
• Review invoices and bills from contractors and suppliers for materials, labor, and services, along with supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and identify any issues related to materials or workmanship.
• Verify that materials, products, and construction practices comply with IGBC certification requirements.

• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, billing practices, and IGBC standards.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, building codes, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
• Flexibility to travel extensively between multiple project locations and work on-site.
