Java Developer - Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to web application development using Java 8+, Spring, J2EE frameworks
• Design and develop REST APIs and work with Redis for data caching
• Build, deploy, and manage applications in a Tomcat environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple technologies and platforms
• Engage in technical discussions with clients for business requirements and prepare SRS documentation
• Lead and manage a team of 5+ developers including code reviews and mentoring
• Develop projects from scratch and deliver on new and ongoing projects
• Perform troubleshooting, bug fixing, and performance tuning
• Handle third-party integrations and work on multi-tenant architecture
• Work with BPM engines and rule engines (e.g., Drools)
• Perform version control using Git (Bitbucket) and follow Scrum/Agile methodologies
• Recommend system solutions by evaluating pros and cons of custom development
• Manage configurations for domains, sub-domains, cPanel, SSL certificates, etc.
• Involve in recruiting technical team members

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in object-oriented technologies
• Java 8+, Spring Framework, J2EE (Mandatory)
• REST API development (Mandatory)
• Redis (Mandatory)
• Hibernate / ORM (Mandatory)
• Tomcat – expertise in deployment (Mandatory)
• Knowledge of BPM platforms (Preferred)
• Jersey Client (Preferred)
• Drools (Preferred)
• Third-party integrations (Preferred)
• Domain/cPanel/SSL configurations (Preferred)
• SRS documentation and client communication experience
• Experience in team recruitment and leadership
• Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
• Git with Bitbucket
• JUnit, JMeter, or similar TDD/BDD frameworks
• Scrum/Agile development practices (Mandatory)
• Java IDEs like Eclipse (Mandatory), IntelliJ IDEA, or NetBeans
• Clean code practices and code reviews
• Knowledge in Angular (TypeScript), HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript (Bonus)
