Job Description

Job Summary:

The IT Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for IT and technical roles. This role works closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and deliver top talent in alignment with organizational goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and networking
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess technical skills and cultural fit
  • Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for IT roles across multiple technologies
  • Maintain candidate pipeline and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders
  • Draft and publish job descriptions and hiring advertisements
  • Negotiate salary, manage offer roll-outs, and follow up on joining formalities
  • Track recruitment metrics and maintain records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs
  • Stay updated on IT hiring trends, tools, and platforms

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT recruitment or technical hiring
  • Knowledge of IT roles, skills, and technologies (Java, Python, DevOps, Cloud, etc.)
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools like Naukri, LinkedIn, Monster, and internal databases
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Exposure to contract staffing, C2H, or international hiring
  • Knowledge of recruitment analytics and reporting tools
  • Certifications in recruitment or HR (optional)
