Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment:
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from creating job descriptions and posting job ads to interviewing candidates and making offers.
  • Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings, in-person or virtual interviews, and technical assessments (or coordinate with hiring managers for technical interviews).
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, evaluate candidates, and determine hiring strategies.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Talent Pool Building:
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT candidates for current and future positions.
  • Proactively search for potential candidates, leveraging both traditional recruiting methods and innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Engage passive candidates and maintain long-term relationships to keep them engaged for future opportunities.
  • Candidate Evaluation:
  • Screen and assess resumes and applications to ensure candidates meet the minimum qualifications and skill sets.
  • Conduct behavioral and technical interviews to evaluate candidates' technical expertise, cultural fit, and soft skills.
  • Partner with technical team members to assess the candidates' technical competencies and skills.
  • Offer Management and Negotiation:
  • Work closely with hiring managers to evaluate candidates and make compensation decisions.
  • Negotiate offers with candidates, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and budget.
  • Communicate offer details, company benefits, and work culture to candidates in a clear and professional manner.
  • Onboarding & Pre-Employment Processes:
  • Guide selected candidates through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance to the first day at work.
  • Collect necessary documentation, facilitate background checks, and coordinate with HR and IT teams to set up new hires with the required resources.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry to identify the right skill sets for recruitment.
  • Research and track the competitive landscape for IT talent and salary benchmarking.
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and suggest improvements.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
  • Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of active searches, market trends, and the talent pipeline.
  • Assist in refining job descriptions, job requirements, and interview processes.
  • Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Promote and implement diversity hiring strategies.
  • Ensure that the recruitment process is inclusive and accessible to candidates from diverse backgrounds.
  • Reporting and Metrics:
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate quality, and source of hire.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, and hiring progress.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT recruitment or technical recruiting, preferably in a corporate environment or recruiting agency.
  • Strong knowledge of IT job roles, such as software engineers, developers, network engineers, data analysts, cloud engineers, and other technical positions.
  • Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as Workday, iCIMS, or Greenhouse.
  • Proficiency in sourcing candidates via platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, GitHub, StackOverflow, and other niche tech platforms.
  • Familiarity with technical screening tools or assessment platforms (e.g., HackerRank, Codility, or similar).
  • Understanding of IT skills and technologies (e.g., Java, Python, Cloud technologies, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to evaluate candidates' technical expertise, qualifications, and cultural fit for the organization.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
