Job Description

  • Procurement Strategy & Governance:
  • Develop and implement the IT procurement strategy aligned with IT and business goals.
  • Establish policies, standards, and procedures for IT procurement and vendor management.
  • Ensure alignment with financial, legal, compliance, and security guidelines.
  • Category Management:
  • Manage procurement for all IT categories: infrastructure, software licensing, SaaS, hardware, telecom, networking, cloud, and outsourced services.
  • Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) reduction, lifecycle cost analysis, and value-based sourcing.
  • Sourcing & Tendering:
  • Lead RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes for major IT initiatives including ERP, retail systems, cybersecurity, and cloud transitions.
  • Evaluate bids, negotiate pricing, terms, and SLAs in collaboration with legal, IT security, and finance teams.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Manage relationships with key technology vendors and system integrators.
  • Monitor performance against SLAs, resolve disputes, and lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Build alternate vendor base for risk mitigation and innovation.
  • Contract Management:
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, and SOWs.
  • Track renewal timelines, license audits, AMC schedules, and compliance obligations.
  • Budgeting & Spend Control:
  • Track IT procurement budgets, identify savings opportunities, and report procurement KPIs.
  • Provide forecast and spend analysis reports to IT leadership and finance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Liaise with IT operations, cybersecurity, finance, audit, legal, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure procurement enables timely delivery of projects and operations
