Job Description

Role MS SQL Server Database Administrator

Required Technical Skill Set MS SQL Server Database Administrator

• Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
• Install, configure and administer the SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 on windows servers.
• Migrate SQL servers to higher versions – In-place and side by side upgrade.
• Database disaster recovery strategy like Replicaton/ Mirroring/ Clustering/ Always On.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools like extended events, profiler, etc.
• Proactively analysis the performance and tuning recommendations.
• Define backup and restore strategy. Database refresh (Prod to Non prod environments).

Good-to-Have

• Basic Knowledge on Oracle DBA, DB2, Azure and AWS.
• Reliable, Recoverable and scalable database computing environments to store and integrate data.
• Major responsibilities include, Database administration, implementation, and maintenance tasks
