IT Infrastructure Installation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Network & Infrastructure Deployment

• Deploy, configure, and support corporate networks and server infrastructure in data centers and POP sites
• Create network/server rack layouts, cage designs, wiring diagrams, and port maps
• Calculate and document power requirements and coordinate with Engineering, Facilities, and vendors
• Develop statements of work for vendors and oversee asset management of networking equipment

System & Network Operations

• Use internal tools and scripts to configure, monitor, and repair servers and network equipment
• Detect, diagnose, and resolve errors across diverse server types
• Follow, improve, and implement data center and POP best practices
• Provide escalations to higher support tiers and assist Sales/Customer Support with technical operations

Documentation & Automation

• Contribute to process improvements and automation of operational procedures
• Maintain accurate network and system documentation, including RMA procedures and benchmarking reports

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with Network Engineering, Logistics, and equipment vendors during new deployments or technology integrations
• Coordinate with global teams in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
