Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for all PTF installs, operating system updates, backups, and general iSeries maintenance.
• Recommend, install, implement, and use 3rd party software where needed to improve iSeries performance.
• Maintain and administer JDE World security along with DB2 security in accordance with the newest security methods.
• Analyze the iSeries by monitoring system performance, log files, memory usage to determine upgrade needs.
• Develop disaster recovery plans, tune the system, provide technical training and assistance where needed.
• Document all system changes and develop consistent procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a production/test/development environment for our JDE World ERP application.
