International Travel Consultant

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced International Travel Consultant to craft tailored travel experiences and provide exceptional service to our global clientele. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of international travel, strong booking capabilities, and a customer-centric mindset. You will be responsible for designing customized travel packages, managing bookings, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Create Customized Travel Itineraries:
- Design detailed and personalized travel plans including flights, hotels, tours, and activities for international destinations.
Handle Travel Bookings:
- Manage accurate reservations for flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other services, ensuring timely confirmations and seamless execution.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients through exceptional service and post-travel engagement to encourage repeat business.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
- Monitor travel trends, regulations, and new offerings to ensure clients receive the most current and valuable recommendations.
Coordinate with Global Travel Partners:
- Collaborate with hotels, tour operators, and service providers to secure competitive rates and ensure smooth travel experiences.
Software Proficiency:
- Use travel industry tools and systems efficiently to manage itineraries, bookings, and communications.
Task Management & Prioritization:
- Juggle multiple client requests and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
Attention to Detail:
- Ensure precision in itinerary management, documentation, and service cost tracking.
Destination Expertise:
- Possess solid knowledge of global travel destinations, local cultures, logistics, and travel regulations to offer informed advice.
Multilingual Skills (Preferred):
- Leverage additional language proficiency for effective communication with international clients and vendors.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Maintain positive relationships with travel suppliers and coordinate service delivery to meet client expectations.
Cost Recording & Invoicing Coordination:
- Accurately track service costs and work with the accounts team to validate invoices and manage timely payments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an International Travel Consultant or in a similar travel advisory role
- Strong knowledge of international travel documentation, visas, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple travel itineraries simultaneously
- Familiarity with travel industry tools, booking systems, and best practices
