Position overview:
We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Consultant to join our team. Your key responsibilities will include providing insightful and creative opinions, drafting high-quality articles, and translating complex strategic thinking into easily understandable content. This role will be pivotal in executing aligned people communication strategies and drive employee engagement across our service units in Asia Pacific. You will work closely with regional Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) teams to create impactful, targeted content, manage people communications, and thereby support business growth. Your work will directly support leadership, ensuring a unified and compelling brand message that resonates with diverse audiences.
You'll make a difference by:
Communication strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies aligned with the company's objectives and values.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant information and updates for internal distribution.
- Developing and implementing communication plans for both internal and external audiences.
- Lead employee engagement activities such as town hall meetings, webinars, and workshops.
- Content planning
- Create engaging content for internal communications channels including newsletters, intranet, emails, and presentations.
- Manage internal communication platforms and ensure content is accurate, relevant, and timely.
- Leadership communications support
- The role works closely with the Head of Communications and the Business Line Heads of GBS ASP supporting through communication materials.
- Provide guidance and support to senior leadership on internal communication best practices.
- Develops communication materials and profiles for key stakeholders
- Branding
- Ensure Siemens brand guidelines are followed in GBS communications both internally and externally.
- Approve of Siemens GBS branded communication materials and assets
- Your success is grounded in
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5-7 years) in internal communications and preferably working closely with the HR Team.
- Expertise in developing and completing comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational programs and initiatives.
- Strong project management skills and experiences to optimally manage complex communication projects, ensuring delivery of messages across various channels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to foster collaboration and gather insights from multiple internal collaborators at all levels of the organization. o Familiarity with cultural nuances and sensitivities in communications, especially when working remotely across different regions.
- Business-fluency in English is a requirement for this role.
