Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Interior Architectural Planning & Design Coordination

  • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project teams on functional layouts.
  • Review architectural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
  • Provide inputs on space planning, furniture layouts, lighting, and material selection.
  • Ensure design execution aligns with approved plans.

Procurement Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and execute procurement schedules aligned with design and project timelines.
  • Forecast material requirements with project and design teams.
  • Ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials.

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and empanel vendors for interior works.
  • Float RFQs/RFPs, analyze quotations, and prepare techno-commercial comparisons.
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain vendor database with performance and compliance records.

Material Knowledge & Technical Evaluation

  • Strong knowledge of wood, laminates, MDF, paints, wall coverings, modular furniture, partitions, and MEP elements for interiors.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC teams for material approvals.

Purchase & Work Order Management

  • Prepare and manage POs and WOs per approved budgets.
  • Track deliveries and coordinate logistics.
  • Resolve procurement and delivery discrepancies proactively.

Site Coordination & Execution Support

  • Conduct periodic site visits to ensure design intent, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and contractors for smooth execution.

Payment Processing & Coordination

  • Verify vendor invoices, delivery challans, and completion certificates.
  • Coordinate with finance for timely vendor payments and maintain payment trackers.

Cost Control & Budget Management

  • Monitor procurement costs against project budgets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce material wastage.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain procurement records, design approvals, contracts, POs, WOs, and delivery notes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and support audits.
