Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Interior Architectural Planning & Design Coordination
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project teams on functional layouts.
- Review architectural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Provide inputs on space planning, furniture layouts, lighting, and material selection.
- Ensure design execution aligns with approved plans.
Procurement Planning & Coordination
- Develop and execute procurement schedules aligned with design and project timelines.
- Forecast material requirements with project and design teams.
- Ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and empanel vendors for interior works.
- Float RFQs/RFPs, analyze quotations, and prepare techno-commercial comparisons.
- Negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
- Maintain vendor database with performance and compliance records.
Material Knowledge & Technical Evaluation
- Strong knowledge of wood, laminates, MDF, paints, wall coverings, modular furniture, partitions, and MEP elements for interiors.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for material approvals.
Purchase & Work Order Management
- Prepare and manage POs and WOs per approved budgets.
- Track deliveries and coordinate logistics.
- Resolve procurement and delivery discrepancies proactively.
Site Coordination & Execution Support
- Conduct periodic site visits to ensure design intent, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Coordinate with site engineers and contractors for smooth execution.
Payment Processing & Coordination
- Verify vendor invoices, delivery challans, and completion certificates.
- Coordinate with finance for timely vendor payments and maintain payment trackers.
Cost Control & Budget Management
- Monitor procurement costs against project budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce material wastage.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain procurement records, design approvals, contracts, POs, WOs, and delivery notes.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and support audits.
